WARNING! This entry will be as long as you can ever read. Please prepare for not be bored. ^_^
For the past two month, I've been joining a jobcamp under Scicom Academy, hosted by MSC Malaysia. This program is basically training for C****** C*****. But most importantly, it teach us to improve our communication skills in English. In this program, we have been exposed and forced to use English as our 1st language in class, making assignments and do presentation in English in which to build up our confidence level.
Mula-mula nak join kursus ni, memang banyak dugaannya. Daripada nak kerja, sampai terpaksa tolak kerja. Ke hulu ke hilir mencari kelas, akhirnya on 25th June 2012, the class started at Scicom Academy. Hari pertama kelas tu memang nervous sangat sebab tak kenal sesiapa pun tapi digagahkan juga hati demi untuk menuntut ilmu. Masa tu lah kami mula diperkenalkan sebagai MDEC16.
Since then, kami berkenalan dan started to know about each other because we are going to be together for the next two month. At the beginning of the perkenalan takdelah awkward mana because of every one of them are very friendly. Baru kenal first day pun, kecoh dia satu alam. I still can't forget the moment we all start knowing each other. Everybody was curious and trying to remember each other's name. Haha it was so cute back then. Then, as quickly as we have to get know each other, we have been given with first task, which is we have to introduce ourself in form of shield. Do you guys still remember it? :)
In time, we keep bonding between each other. Maybe it because of we hardly known each other, so it makes us attracted and wants to know about each other even more. On the first week, on Friday to be more precise, we had our first lunch together. It was totally awesome to have such great group and very cooperative between us. Eventhough the KLCC Food Court are full with a sea of humans, we manage to find ourself some seats for having our lunch. From that day onwards, we keep on going to lunch together every friday.
Dalam dua bulan ni, dah banyak kali kami dipecahkan kepada kumpulan untuk tugasan/assignments. There are a lot of things we have learn and faced together. Walaupun banyak yang kami tak faham pada mulanya tentang program yang kami join ni, tapi kami tak pernah putus asa untuk terus belajar. Each time we learn new lesson, we are divided into different group and each time we are not be in the same group so that we can learn how to work with different people with different ways of doing work and with different attitudes. But one thing that we are in common is we love to cam-whore! ;D Our first cam-whoring together was at the front of the KLCC's fountain. It was so much fun!
Eventhough we are having so much fun, but in terms of work, we were all very focused and determined. The team work were very strong and we do keep each others back. Walaupun group lain-lain, tapi kami tak pernah kedekut ilmu and always help and support each other. Ada one time ni, assignment kitorang is to go to the stores and see how the staff of that store treat us. So, we go to ToysRus together. :)
For me, the most memorable assignment is 'How to handle STRESS' because it was the first time we don't have to do any paperworks but we have to shoot a video. This is the climax part of our relationship as a classmates and teams because it really have made us very close together and it is also the most exciting assignment I've ever done.
As the time goes by, Ramadhan came. We have planned for having iftar together. Setelah mencapai kata sepakat dan sebulat suara, we have decided to have our first iftar together at Flaming Steamboat in Danau Kota. That night, semua pun melantak kaw2 punya, berpatutan dengan duit yang dibayar katanya. Punya lah banyak ambik makanan, sampai membazir. Perut pakat kedepan belaka, kekenyangan. Hahaha.
Besides then attending to classes, we also joined the flashmob coached by Uncle Vernon. Walaupun step dia agak lame, tapi the purpose of doing it is the most important which is to build up our self confidence and learn to be discipline. It is also good for our health, rather than just sit in the chill of aircond, we can do some exercise and give our body some stretching by moving. We do practices everyday 5-10 minutes/day and did the flashmob at stesen LRT KLCC and also at the front of the KLCC fountains'.
And we have plan our next iftar, which is the last iftar together before the program ends. We were having our iftar at Restoran Asam Pedas Melaka at Kg. Baru. Kedai tu nama je 'Asam Pedas' tapi bayang-bayang or even the smell of asam pedas sikit pon takde. Tapi tetap bersyukur dengan rezeki yang ada, still buat perangai yang sama, ambil makanan tak hengat dunia, macam tak makan sebulan. Typical us! ;D
Yesterday was the last day of the program and the last day MDEC16 together. It is sad when this day finally came. We have did our last presentation for our last assignment and we all did PASS. Throughout the day, we spend time together and laugh until the end. But lastly, I still can't hold my tears and it did burst out.
You guys, thank you so much for all the memory. I will forever keep it in my heart and simpan sampai mati. :') This two month means a lot to me. By knowing yguys are also really means a lot to me. Wish you all success and please do keep in touch. Always remember that
'Practice makes Perfect!' Don't ever give up and keep do your best. It's really hard for me to say goodbye, and for me this is not our goodbye yet. Please forgive me if I've had done wrong and don't keep it in your heart.
